"Eternal Vow" ~ Print
Created as a heartfelt surprise from Hannah to her fiancé, this piece honors a love preparing to enter its most sacred season. As their wedding day draws nearer, Hannah longed for a work of art that could hold the emotion of this time—something they could cherish in their home forever. Overflowing with joy and anticipation, she chose to commemorate their journey through a painting inspired by St. Joseph and Mary, reimagined through the lens of her own love story.
Hannah subtly gave St. Joseph a few of her fiancé’s features, allowing him to represent both the saint and the man who will soon become her husband. Mary is painted with the appearance of a bride, her posture gentle and full of hope. Lilies rest in her hands like a wedding bouquet.
At the center of both halos, Hannah added a delicate “knot,” a symbolic detail representing the two of them preparing to “tie the knot.” This intentional touch transforms the piece into more than a devotional image—it becomes a visual prayer for their marriage and a timeless reminder of the love, faith, and joy guiding them into this next chapter.
“This painting is dedicated to couples about to “tie the knot” and unite themselves as one through the sacred Catholic vows.”
